Hire the Hall

We will be pleased to quote for your requirements and confirm our terms before you book.

All hirers must adhere to all of our terms and conditions concerning hiring, behaviour, care of the building and contents and payment terms (See below).

Stage lighting & sound to be arranged with a trustee & NOT to be used without permission.

Please do NOT drag the table in the Parlour as it scratches the floor.

Please make sure ALL chairs, tables are put back where found.

Please do NOT use any staples, drawing pins, nails, blu tack, etc on any walls or woodwork.

The Trustees reserve the right to refuse bookings from certain minority groups and persons who do not meet our conditions and priority will be given to village interests where possible.


1. A deposit cheque of £200 must be given immediately to the bookings secretary as this will secure the booking, this will only be returned if all rubbish & glass bottles etc have been removed the same day and the hall is left in the condition that you found it.

2. Health & Safety. "All care should be taken to ensure the floor areas remain free of any slip and trip hazards". Spilages must be cleaned up immediately. First aid box is located in the kitchen together with the accident book which must be completed in the event of all accidents. Please note whilst hiring the hall you must make sure all the above is adhered to, The Lifford Hall cannot be held responsible for the hirer, members, guests, actions which include, dancing, keep fit, alcoholic consumption etc. As all activities are at the hirers own risk.

3. If the hirer is having a bar, a temporary events notice will be required. Only 12 notices are available from Wychavon District Council each year, the tel number is 01527 548245 & you need to ask for a TENS notice.

4. Please advise if you require the use of the Balcony, as it is a fire escape this has to be unlocked for all events, a key will be issued.
